Description
Series FF425 Non-Contact Rotary Torque Transducer and Series FF410 Static/Reaction Torque Sensor
The Datum Electronics Series FF425 flange non-contact rotary torque transducer and FF410 torque sensors have been designed to fit easily inline with any drive train or test rig using standard DIN size couplings. With Flange couplings at either end of the torque transducer, it has many advantages over other torque measurement systems on the market.
The FF425 rotary torque transducer utilises a strain gauged shaft for accurate and reliable torque measurement and a set of rotating on shaft conditioning electronics. The digital signals are transmitted to the non-rotating part of the system or stator providing a reliable and highly accurate torque measurement solution.
Using our revolutionary new electronics as used in our industry standard, our M425 inline rotary torque sensor, the FF425 gives customers higher resolution with up to 24bit resolution and the ability to choose their sample rates from 1 up to 4000sps.

The FF410 Static/Reaction Torque Sensor Range
If you’re looking to measure static torque? Then the Datum Electronics Series FF410 Reaction torque sensor with standard DIN flanges will be an ideal and cost-effective choice. This static torque sensor was based on our FF425 series of rotary torque transducers and is used to measure torque with no rotation or angular acceleration. As in the FF425 Flange to Flange Torque Sensor range, FF410 Reaction transducer design uses the same basic shaft components and cutting-edge strain gauge technology, allowing us to keep the reaction torque transducer competitively priced with a high torsional stiffness included.
Easy Fit into Drive Train
The 410 Static Non-Contact Torque Transducer and FF425 Flange to Flange Rotational Torque Sensors easily fit into your existing test rig, test bench or drive train. Using standard DIN flanges, fitting and coupling, the FF 425 dynamic torque sensors and FF110 static torque transducers are made more efficient than other options available. The minimum operating envelope of the Datum flange to flange torque meters starts from 100mm and will increase depending upon torque measurement requirements.
