Description
The DC Shunt Excitation Motors Application, “AEL-DCSH”, has been designed by EDIBON to demonstrate the most important operations and manoeuvres carried out with DC Shunt Electrical Motors.
These operations are mainly the following: Start / Stop the DC Shunt Electrical Motor, speed control of the DC Shunt motor using a variable resistor and a DC variable source, and simulate an emergency stop system for DC shunt motor. The student will learn the most important operations of these electrical machines faithfully by using commutators and contactors.
